In Room Celebration

We are really strongly thinking of getting it for my eldest who is turning 10 while we are there, it's expensive but he's got ASD and kids never come to his party when we try which is just depressing; but the other side of the coin is that we can put all the money that we'd normally put into a party into gift baskets etc The other reason I want to do that is because I don't want to spend the first half of my vacation doing the covert shopping thing and trying to hide them and then having to wrap them...We also have a lot of relatives who just give me cash to get their presents for him. If Mickey can handle that, great! I can go check out Carsland instead

Does anyone have any recent pictures of Mickey's Big Birthday Bash? I've found a couple older threads, but nothing recent. Also everything I've seen has had girls recieving, and I'm not sure he'd be thrilled with a princess towel and bright pink spinning Minnie...I'm kinda curious if there is some variation based on gender or if they've swapped out some of those things.

Also what sort of luck have people had with them doing the shopping for you and making a custom basket?

While not Mickey's Birthday Bash, I did do one of the In-Room Celebrations for my DH last year for our anniversary. (Pics in my signature.)

What I wanted to mention was, that when you call to set this up, if there is something you want added to the package (for my husband and I, it was the classic black Mickey ears with our names on them) they can be added to it for the cost of the merchandise. (And maybe a small surcharge.)

I'm thinking I may do another one for him this trip around, but haven't yet decided. It is his birthday. I may just request balloons.

They look like they do such a good job! We got the halloween basket for my kids years ago and that was great too. I'm pretty excited about this.

We got ours way back in 2009, but it had a lot of sweets, a mickey in his halloween outfit, a halloween ear hat, and a great halloween mickey bucket which looks like the big pumpkin mickey on mainstreet. We still use those buckets every year I don't know what they'd have in it now.
