In Room Celebration

We are going to stay at the VGC in July on a friend's points. We just purchased BLT points this week, but haven't told our kids the exciting news yet. We thought it would be fun to do it while we at the DLR. I know that in WDW they have a service where you can order packages/gifts to be made up and delivered to the room. Can you do that at DLR as well? We thought would be great to have a delivery waiting for them in the Villa when we get there that says "Welcome". Thanks.

I know that you can have cakes and special food items sent up to the room as I did that last year while staying there for our anniversary. Not sure about anything else, but you could always try calling the resort directly to find out.

Thanks, I will call the hotel and check into it. Just wondered if there was anything already set up for these kinds of requests. My guess is that Disney will be more than willing to take my money if they can accomodate such a request.

That's funny, because I was just thinking about that this weekend....at WDW you can order through disneyflorist.com There must be a DL counterpart of some kind? If you find anything out, will you please post it? Thanks!

My plan this evening was to check around the threads and see what I could find, I was sure there had to be something out there....these boards cover everything! I so appreciate you doing the leg work, I only scrolled through the page but it seems pretty extensive. Glad I took a minute to log back in and see what was going on here. Thanks again
