has anyone used any service? If so were you pleased and could you provide name & phone #. My 3 kids are 8mos, 2 & 5 and I've never left them w/ a hotel sitter. We will be offsite for 5 nites and AKL for 4. If anyone would share their experience (good or bad) I would aprreciate it. Thanks

Hi - have left our kids with kindercare sitter when staying in Walt Disney World, several times - from the ages of 16 months and 4 years. They were great. If u use them more than once in a trip they try to assign the same sitter.

The ladies who sat for us were all around about late fifties, early sixties and were lovely. They bring a suitcase of toys appropriate for the childrens ages. Months after the trip my two insisted one of their favourite things at WDW was spending the evening with the sitter.

They will also take your children out if you want, tho I don't think I would want to send them with my two until they are a bit older - a bit of a handful at present.

We also used Fairygodmothers when staying off-site and their service was great too but, I just love Kindercare.

I will hunt out the phone number for you and post it later.

We used Fairy Godmother's last July for our kids ages (then) 2 1/2 and 6. They were great! It was a grandmother and she brought toys and videos to watch (we stayed offsite and had a vcr). My kids were even calling her grandma!

Here is the number for Kindercare: 407 827 5444

Does anyone have the number for Fairy Godmothers? I moved recently and seem to have mislaid it.

Thanks for the input. I think we will try Kindercare.. I 'm going to find out tomorrow if they do offsite as well because we will be in a 2 bedroom and I think it would just be easier than if we did it in the hotel room at AKL. Again if any one has the # for Fairy Godmothers I would appreciate it. I could not find it. Thanks again.

My son LOVES Helen from the Fairy Godmothers. We always request her. I was so worried the first time that it would be a yound foeigner whom my little 2 year old could not understand, but when Helen showed up he ran to her and called her grandma!

She was fantastic and showed up a little before time and took great care to listen to our instructions.

They are fantastic. There rates are $12 base travel fee plus $12 an hour for one child. I can't remember how much more for extra children, but it is not $12 for all the extra kids. There is a minimum 4 hour charge.

Hope this helps!
Angie
