Well we're all happily listsing our disappointments and anti-climaxes on here so let's also do the things we love best out at disney and the surrounding areas! I'll start with me and Scott

Ok, our favourites at Disney would have to be:

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
The Haunted Mansion (my fave)
Mickey's Philharmagic
Peter Pan's Flight
The Barnstormer
Tomorrowland Transit Authority
Space Mountain
Splash Mountain (I hate this!)
Wishes
Spectromagic
Test Track
Mission: Space
Soarin'
Spaceship Earth
Ellen's Energy Adventure
Illuminations
Muppet Vision 3D
Star Tours
Tower of Terror (Scott's fave)
Indiana Jones
Backlot Tour
Fantasmic
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Dinosaur
Primeval Whirl

Our favourites at Universal are:

Terminator 3D
Men in Black
Back to the Future
Twister
Shrek 4D
Earthquake
The Mummy
Jimmy Neutron
Spiderman
The Cat in the Hat

We also love eating at Cosmic Ray's, the desserts at The Land, the Bakery's in France & the Boardwalk and I love Nestle Toll House cookie sandwiches! Summer Bay (our resort) is amazing and we love the Prime Outlets/Florida Mall and Premium Outlets to shop at. Favourite places to eat outside Disney are Golden Corral, Bennigans, Dunkin' Donuts and Chick-fil-a.

I could second all your WDW choices, but I'll add a few other things..

Friendly and helpful Cms, so many of the little things they do are overlooked.
The cleanliness of the place in general
The counter service restaurants, generally good service, not bad prices, and when you find the ones that aren't all burgers, fries etc they're wonderful.
The theming, the little details, everywhere there's something with a story to tell.
The fact that you're totally cut off from reality and the crap of the outside world.
The transportation, easy, free and reliable
The outside gates - when I see them I know I'm there, I liken it to the bit in The Wizard of Oz when the world turns technicolour, I always feel like that happens when you enter 'the world'
How every resort has theming, there are no boring pools, restaurants or lobbies
I could go on..

Well the list could go on and on:

I love:

Wishes
Spectromagic
Fantasmic
Tomorrowland Transit Authority
It's a Small World
Peter Pan's Flight
Big Thunder Mountain
Jungle Cruise
Speceship Earth
Journey into Imagination
Just walking around the World Showcase
The Great Movie Ride
Indiana Jones
Backlot Tour
Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon
Mini Golf
The shops at Downtown Disney

I really want to go and see La Nouba next time we go too :thumbsup2

If I had to chose just one thing at each park - it would be:

Mickey's Philarmagic
Fantasmic
Kali River Rapids
Test Track

At Universal
Terminator 3d (this surprises me) :confused3
Spiderman

Everything !!

I like everything, from stepping off the plane, being hit by the heat when you arrive in Orlando, the smell of the water, the Disney Resorts, Parks (especially Tower of Terror, RnRc & Mickey's Philharmagic), CM's, character breakfasts, Universal Studios/IOA (especially The Mummy, The Hulk and Duelling Dragons) and of course the shopping - I love it all !!

There's nothing that can beat that feeling off stepping off the plane and feeling/tasting that wierd "stale" air in the tubes, walking down the corridor (I've only been to Sanford, no idea what it's like at MCO) and knowing you're there! Of course I'm always even happier AFTER immigration when you've got your bags and walk out to the road and feel the heat!!

oh gee....there's not enough time for me to list all the things i love about WDW......the list goes on and on and on and on...

if i had to pin it down to one thing, i guess it would be the magic....

I love

stepping off the plane and bing hit by the heat.
seeing the castle for the first time.
buying my first souvenire
going on haunted mansion
eating at crystal palace
going to the mall,
an evening at dtd

There are too many things to list!! I love going through the WDW gates, when you pull up at your hotel and you remember how big everything is, your first sight of the castle and finishing the day with a fireworks dispay!

I'm with Mandy on this one, my answer would have to be everything :sunny:

I think seeing my kids believing in the magic is special, when they think Tink really flew, Donald is really stuck in a wall, Mickey can shoot fireworks from his hands.
For me, Fantasmic can not be beat for immersing me in the magic, and the thrill of riding a new attraction for the first time, be it Stitch (its not so bad), Philarmagic or this year Expedition Everest :yay: Oh yes, I get the same thrill from trying a new restaurant too. This year I want to try Whispering Canyon Cafe, California Grill and finally eat in the World Showcase (the princess breakfast that I did doesn't really count for me as it wasn't native food).

keep em coming,
Claire xx

Those really fat blades of grass that they have in Florida-and the little lizards running everywhere.

Well evereyone has mentioned all the Disney stuff already!

Having breakfast...i'm not a pig...honest

Just the feeling that you have all day in front of you and knowing the day ahead will be pure magic :wizard: (unlike having breakfast at home on a monday morning where i'd rather crawl back into bed and avoid work... :surfweb: )

What I love most about WDW is probably The Polynesian Resort! Since our first stay we have been back every trip and will continue to do so. I don't think I could visit Florida without staying there for part of the trip.

The other think I love most are the CMs. They really make it "Disney" for me. :goodvibes

:wizard:
