Hi. I'm wondering if I can use my park hopper pass to access the busses within WDW even though I am staying off property during my upcoming trip or would I need a resort ID for some routes? Can I travel between parks, resorts (for some meals), and Downtown Disney (I have to visit the Ghiradelli ice cream shop) while leaving my car in one place, say the main parking lot at the TTC? This forum has been a great help with my previous questions, so thanks in advance.

First of all- unless they change policies they won't ID you to use WDW transportation. I've been 4 trips in the past year and never ONCE did I see anyone being asked for any form of ID or proof from the driver.
With that said- any WDW ticket allows for use of the WDW transportation- that would be one day ticket, park hopper, annual pass- and I think even if you aren't going to the parks and don't have tickets but are staying at one of their resorts.

So park hopper is good enough. Enjoy! :)

Yes you could use the transportation. I would suggest using your own car to visit DTD because there is no direct bus from the parks to DTD. You have to go to a resort and then catch the DTD bus.

But once you pay for parking you don't pay again during that day. Just show your receipt at the next park. For some of your trips it might be easier to drive.
