In-Park quests and Tours...

Do you get to choose the time for the tour or do you have one assigned. We are going in December but I would like to take the 4:30 tour, not the 12:30 one. Will I get to choose the time?

Also, all three of us(myself and 2 DDs) each have a tour coupon for completing the Hidden Mickey Quest. So we will only need one coupon or will we need two? It sounds like they are only letting one + one guest even though the coupon says it is good for the coupon + 3 guests.
You get to pick the time and day. To be sure of getting the time you want it might be necessary to get to the park early in the morning to sign up or even sign up on days before the tour you want. From what I have seen the late tour is usually more full than the early one.

I can't answer what Disney will allow as far as the number of tour guests allowed per coupon. However if they question the number of guests at City Hall (I have been calling this Town Hall in previous posts and that is incorrect) I would point out to them what it says on the printed coupon. Make sure that VMK Central gives you the coupon back after scanning the bar code.

Note: I just noticed something else in the fine print on the newest tour card (series 1 card number 30 of 30). Even though the code on the card is good for the virtual prize (VIP badge) till September 30, 2006, the cards are only good for tours through December 31, 2005.

Did you get the impression that is was just for Tour cards or for all prizes?

He was referencing the Tour. I hope it's not the prizes. I was going to go on Thursday to get my prizes. :cheer2:

We got to the VMK spot at around 11ish. Both were completely full. Disneyland was not busy that day so I'm under the impression that there is a lot of people like you and me :rolleyes1 that go there often. We are going again on Tuesday :flower:

At the present time in WDW the VMK Insider Tours can only be done every 90 days (according to the card). The quests (except the Haunted Mansion, which is only done on the tour) can still be done every 30 days.

how many days in advance can you reserve the tour? Does your entire party have to be with you when you reserve the tour? If we arrive on a Monday, can we book the tour for that Friday?

I think it is up to 60 days in advance at the present.

The entire tour party does not have to be present, but they might require that each person can only book for 1 other guest.

You can definitely book a Friday tour on the preceding Monday.
