We are not on the DDP and will be staying in a condo offsite, so we will be fixing many of our own meals.

But, I would like to take the kids to Fantasmic. I understand that it's normally only on T/Th nights, and we will be going to the Studios on Sunday (Star Wars Weekend). I am not planning to get park hopper tix. Does that mean that we would have to use a ticket to go back to the Studios just to eat the meal and see Fantasmic? Is it really worth adding $212 to the cost of our tix (plus the meal itself) just to see it?

Yes, if you want to see Fantasmic at the Studios, you would have to either plan for that to be the park you are in on a day Fantasmic is being held, or you would have to pay for park hopper passes.

I was afraid of that. Given a choice between the Star Wars Weekend day and the Fantasmic day, Star Wars is going to win out. Maybe another year...
