Slow day!
I've been reading House Rules all day
and I hope to have it finished tonight!

My Aunt had her knee replaced yesterday
so we went to visit her at the hospital!
She is doing really well

Hope her knee heals fast!

I just picked up DD11 at the final rehearsal, since the play opens tomorrow
and we stopped in Big Bird for bagels and milk

and got those, and as I came through the ice cream aisle
I saw Edy's was 3 for $10
so I picked up some yummy butterfinger and cookie dough varieties


then we got home,
DD11 got her snack and I looked at the bill

Ice cream rang up 4.99 EACH
this makes me grumpy
so I went back over

and say to the woman at the desk "I just bought ice cream"
and she interrupts, "Edy's, it is not in the system yet until tomorrow" (the day thier sales start)
so I say "so you have been ripping people off all evening?"
and she says, "Oh, no, most people are bringing it up"

me: "IF they notice, I was already home!"

she starts to give me the difference, when I mention to her the first one is now free and the second one should be $3.34

Of course, this needs manager approval, but I don't care.
It is their posted policy, if they don't want to honor it, don't put up the signs that say it is on sale until the day it really is on sale!

I got $6.65 back........

What a good deal!

The friendship bread is delicious, i , there are only a few bites left (one saved for DD11's lunch tomorrow!) I would mail you a starter, but it woud probably explode in the mail, and that would not be good....

Yeah that would be a big mess!

I think this is the first of Jodi Picoult's
books that I've actually figured out
before the end.

It wasn't her best work
but it was still OK
and even had a few humerous parts

I had to go to the dentist today.
I hate the dentist
The hygenist is very friendly and
talks the entire time, then takes offense
when you don't answer her because her
hands are halfway down your throat

I have to have my top wisdom teeth pulled.
I had the bottom ones pulled in 8th grade.
It was a horrible experience, I wanted to be put
to sleep for the procedure but they said they would
just give me novicane. Well, they didn't give me enough
and it ended up wearing off during the middle of the procedure

I'm watching Sunshine Cleaners now
It stars Amy Adams and Emily Blunt

I'm not an Emily Blunt fan.
She is engaged to my future husband
John Krasinski which I just don't think is appropriate

Yes, it was a beautiful day, as it is today. But, I am not having much time to enjoy. Holiday preparations are keeping me quite busy!

I'm sorry that your first experience didn't go well. I had 3 of them pulled at once, a number of years ago. It went quite well.

Please make sure, before you have it done, to remind the dentist of what happened the last time. He/she will make sure to keep a better eye on how you are doing all the way through the procedure.

I had mine all out at once, but they were impacted and I had to go to the hospital for it and be put to sleep. I didn't have any problems though, and barely even swelled up. Must have been a good oral surgeon I just picked out of the phone book.....
