It is an unusuallly mild, sunny day here for the end of December. THe sun is out and it feels much warmer than the temperature is reading. The girls have their heelys and bikes out!

DS went to church and for a GF visit and they are coming back here this afternoon. Lots of highway travel, so I am glad the weather is good.

THe girls are again playing Phase 10, they LOVE the game! It can take a long time to play, so it keeps them busy for an extended time. DD10 woke us up today asking to play it. (again)

In the "chalk one up for never throwing junk out"
I have a bit of wallpaper left from papering the bathroom 15 years ago
(gasp or be incredulous here)
so I can fix the burned spot from yesterday (which you will probably never see anyway)


The plumbing is all redone and the sink is ready to be installed completely
as soon as I do the wallpaper fix up!

DH is now taking a break to watch the steelers
at the neighbors in the man cave
it is overrun with females here, playing Phase 10

I am going to surf a bit for fun activities for tomorrow
to keep the kids amused
or else I will decide more things need cleaned
and no one enjoys that
(not even me)
but I am happy when they are done!

Mom and Dad are fine. They didn't get it as bad as me.

Hot tea sweetened with honey should soothe your throat. Good for stomach, too!

I found that it is Manic Monday at Jillians, five dollars for all day bowling or ten dollars for all day arcade time.

It is 75 cent day at the discount theater, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Astroboy, or Where the Wild Things Are sounded like family fun

We have free tickets to the zoo if the weather is anything like today!

and if we do the zoo, we can ride the incline in Pittsburgh...

doing pretty well, I think!
