Good thing I don't have high blood pressure. I've never played Haunted Mansion before today, and I spent most of my day either running around as a ghost b/c I didn't know how to make my gal go the right direction to stay away from the other color, never coming close to 50, getting dc the few times I'd make it to round three, or trying to get INTO the mansion because it was full in the evening. Oh it was a miserable event. I don't know how many attempts it took before I finally got enough, with my son helping by spraying me down or purposely turning my color so I could catch him for double. I hope we don't have to play that the rest of the weekend.
After getting the girls to bed I decided to get a hat for my other character to use as trade since I don't have anything of value. I couldn't get past Jungle Cruise, either due to running out of gas or dc or coming up short a couple thousand points. It took so long that I didn't get to HM until 11:50 and got message that it was too late to start a new game b/c vmk would be closing.
Grrr. Guess I shouldn't have played fireworks so long. I've never gotten that far and got 5th place with over 100,000 pts. Jungle cruise was the worst though, but I probably wouldn't have gotten the 50 ghsosts on the first try and would have been dc or something anyway.
Guess I'll have to hope things go quicker tomorrow and live w/out the hat as long as I get the second outfit to use as trade value. Having dh home means MUCH less computer time though.
I may have to resign to letting ds play my character after he plays his own and his sisters. I think he'll be glad when these quests are over.
Then he can get back to his virtual social life. Now he's begging to have me set him up here since he found out I post. I said it's midnight...go to bed...we'll do it tomorrow. Now I must say to myself, it's 1 AM, go to bed...
