Hi all,

Can someone out there help me? This whole 180 day thing is driving me crazy. If anyone is willing to listen to my plight and offer some suggestions, I'd be so grateful!

We are heading down to WDW during Easter Week - against my better judgement! :-) Normally we don't make many ADRs, perhaps a character meal or a nice night out for DH and I. But considering the crowds, I thought it might be smart to make a few so we don't get shut out. Especially for things like BBB or the new Pirate equivalent of it . . .

As luck would have it (thank you Disney!) we will be stuck trying to call on October 27, with the zillions of other people who are stuck as they transfer the ADRs from 60 days back to 180 days.

The only good thing that might come of this nightmare is that by then Disney might have actually released the park hours on time, leaving me some time to plan a little bit of strategy as to "which park on what day." (Although I don't know how some people do it - getting stuck trying to make ADRs without the park hours being announced! God bless 'em!)

Assuming I will know what I want prior to actually attempting to get through to make ADRs, what is my best bet for actually getting them? I've heard some people here suggest using the online option, others say to use MS, while still others say to call the regular CRO line. Some of these open at 6:00 a.m. EST and others at 7:00 a.m.? Some have more probability of getting lost in space? It's all a big blur!!! Calgon, take me away!!

Is there a 180 Day Primer out there somewhere that I've missed? Can someone share it with me?? This is whacko!

They moving from 90 days to 180 days...

Online opens at 6:00 AM and phones open at 7:00 AM EST...

MS does not open until 9:00 EST...I would not use them unless you end up on hold with the dining number for more than 2 hours...

6:00 AM online gives you leg up on 7:00 callers...However, if you plan to do it on October 27th I would guess the website is going to be very slow...

You chances will be good for getting what you want because there are many people that will not plan that far ahead...I would go online at 6:00 and see how well you do there...If the system is moving slow or you are having great trouble online start dialing for Disney dining at 6:58...Be prepared that you are going to be on hold for a while and the system may be very slow when you get through.

Good luck!

It's been a long time since I've set my alarm clock for ADR's. I've kinda missed it. (boy, am I a sick pup or what):rotfl2: I'm very happy to hear they've returned to the 180 day window.:goodvibes I like being prepared.

I am very happy too...I think it gives those of us that can plan in advance a better chance at we want...

I am very worried about my Thanksgiving trip because we will still be at the 90 day window and with free dining to go with it...My window opens next Wedensday...You know I will have my alarm set that day :goodvibes
