So, we went to one last time we were in SoCal. My husband loved it. If we are flying into the Orange/John Wayne airport, where is the closest In-n-out burger on the way to Disneyland? And by closest, I guess I mean least out of the way. Anyone know? Thanks!

3361 S. BRISTOL
SANTA ANA, CA 92704

From the airport just get directions onto 55 north.....the macArthur exit comes right up...turn left on MaCarthur. Then maybe half a mile?

Awesome! :thumbsup2 Thanks! :goodvibes Looking forward to a tasty burger.

There's another just off the 22 fwy at the Magnolia exit, but the Bristol one may be more on the way.

You know about the stuff not on the menu? Like you can get a triple-triple or a 4x4 or 'animal style' ( lots of stuff thrown in - can get the fries that way too)
I always get grilled onions, nice and mild.

Also the shakes there are the best! real ice cream.

We stopped at one on the way in right by a trader joe's - so convenient! But of course I have forgotten the address. Sigh. We took the GPS with us for the rental car and it found the trader joe's for us.

here's a map to all the locations of In-N-Out Burgers

http://www.in-n-out.com/locations.asp

Our personal preference is the location in Tustin:

3020 EL CAMINO REAL
TUSTIN, CA 92782

its really not that far from Anaheim, the location is right off the 5 freeway. Of course it maybe a little out of the way from Disneyland, but not by alot.

Ok so DD21 was home for Xmas, she and her DBF LOVE In & Out so they bought it one night for us. My DBF had a double double and I had a single, they did not put cheese on my burger which bummed me out big time and it was "just a burger" at that point. DD did bring us shakes, which were very very good! And she got fries animal style, which I have to say I absolutely loved!!! OMG, they were soooooooooooooooo good!!!!! I think I'll go back this weekend and try it again, but I must say I can feel that In & Out could grow on me. :)

Ok...now I've got a severe craving for an In-N-Out burger and won't be driving down to DL for another year (Grumble!!!) They have the only burger that my kids will eat, in fact prior to hitting the In-N-Out burger in Fullerton last year the kids wouldn't touch burgers.

Thanks everyone! What are animal style fries? I will definitely be getting a shake. Yum! And maybe I should figure out where the one is near the Trader Joe's, since we will be staying in a condo with a kitchen. Usually I pack TJ snacks in our suitcase and bring them down, but now that we have to pay $15 per suitcase :headache: that won't be happening.

Animal Style Fries = Fries + Grilled Onions + Cheese + Spread :woohoo:

Enjoy!!!

How do you SoCalers rate In-N-Out to TK's??

We went there (HB) the 1st time last summer & it was a nice treat, just as hard to find a table tho! It just felt local & tasty....I can get In-N-Out at home....& wait thru the 30 min drive thru!! :headache:

Haven't had the guts to try Animal Style yet...I think of the sweating I put myself thru at the gym & feel like I'm canceling it out, LOL!!

I have never been to In-n-Out Burger, went to go last time we were in the US, but it was packed. Just wondering, there is one on South Harbor Boulevard in Fullerton - would that be the closest?

The closest would be the one on Brookhurst and Orange (3 miles N/W of DLR), but the one in Fullerton would be the easiest to find since it's on Harbor Blvd same as DLR, about 4 miles north.

She wanted the one closest to the airport, not the one closest to Disneyland (I think.:cool1:)

And Ash....the one on MacArthur/Bristol is the one next to a Trader Joe's so you're stylin'!!!

Try Trader joes new Baby Lacey Swiss cheese, yum!!!!
And the banana vanana organic yogurt is a good way to keep your tummies healthy despite all the junk you'll be eating while on vacation!!!

Just throwing in my 2cents here but another off the menu item my hubby and I love is to order our fries "well done" they come extra crispy, just perfect for dipping in the extra side of spread we ask for. I grew up in Idaho and their spread is as close to "fry sauce" as I've ever found in CA (anyone from ID or Utah probably knows what im talking about here).

Former ID girl here...mmmmmmmmmmmmmm fry sauce.........I love that stuff. :)

Im glad im not the only transplant who craves fry sauce still. My wonderful husband actually orders me a few bottles of real fry sauce from an online company based in Utah (Hires) to get my fix. I got him hooked on it when we drove through ID on the way to Yellowstone last year.

Am I the only one who does not like In and Out? I went to one in Tracy California on the way to Disneyland and thought it was horrible? I do not see the hype..
