I'm assuming you've had early entry- still no luck?

I'm starting to get really nervous for our upcoming trip. We will be going the 1st week of Oct and will NOT have any kind of early entry, magic morning etc. I wonder what the strategy is for this situation?

I read the "wide right" technique and that does sound pretty cool. However, it's unlikely that we will be able to use it since we can't get in until official park open.

My plan was to do DCA on Wed 10/3, try and be one of the first in line at the gates & have DH & DS head to RSR to line up while I head to the FP line. I'm assuming a 2 hour wait for the actual ride and an hour wait for the FP. Anyone know if I'll be able to meet up easily with my boys? Or is the line inside/underground like Indiana Jones??

OP- have you tried a strategy similar to this?? Sending some family ahead to the RSR line while you wait for FP's??

Three different days?

Do you mean you were there too late to get FP's because they'd run out?

Did you try the single rider line?

Was the ride down at different times?

Thats not good if you tried 3 days and still didn't get on. Hopefully you have by now!
