Hi all. We are at the end of day four of a seven day trip and we still have 49 snack credits and 55 TS credits. Any suggestions as to how to use them? I'll be really honest, we are tired of eating and really tired of ADRs. We will do Hoop Dee Do and Brown Derby but nothing else scheduled (thank goodness). We are three adults and one child. I will use some snack credits in Epcot, but Thats it. Thanks!

DxDDP credits are dining credits and not specifically TS credits so they can be used at quick service restaurants as well every day. And on your last day if you are driving home, pick up some QS meals for the drive home. We fly, but pick up a meal to eat at the airport and/or on the flight home.

The snack credits can be used for pre-packaged snacks, chips, and candy that you can take home with you. There's usually a selection at the resort gift shops and in some of the stores in the park.

Good luck using your credits.

Have you guys not been eating or just not been using credits? According to your numbers you started with 72 credits and have 55 left so you've only used 17 in four days? That's only one meal per day per person. I would definitely use the snack credits to buy prepackaged snacks to go. Also use them for drinks/bottles of water in the parks. To use your meal credits I'd start snagging 2 credit meals or counter service in your hotel.

It's feels like we are eating nonstop. It's so hot and I guess we've just been concentrating on hydration. Does anyone know if I can use any TS credits for prepackaged snacks? When we were here three years ago, I went and purchased several Mickey rice Krispy treats and Cookies and such to make gift baskets for my kids' teachers

They let us but we had to get a fruit or something to make it a meal. I would do everything that requires more than 1 credit... All signature dining! LOL!

Last night you wrote that you still have 49 snack credits. Usually, any use of credits not for the purpose they were meant comes after you have used up the appropriate credits so expect that CMs will not let you use TS or CS credits while you still have snack credits left.

The best luck for using TS or CS credits for snacks has been at resort food courts, but it will vary with the resort and even the cashier/castmember. Ask the cashier the policy (can it be done, how many snacks for a CS or TS credit) before you start picking out the snacks. Stores, however, usually do not have the ability to ring up snacks with anything but snack credits. What resort are you staying at?

You can use the snack credits for bottles of water, if you concerned about hydration, as well as frozen lemonade, and Starbucks. As others have said, you can get things to take home, lollipops for kids friends back at home, etc.

Maybe see about some good QS lunch and breakfast spots. ABC Commissary for lunch, if you are in HS (you mentioned Brown Derby), it is cool in there, and they have meal salads and lighter kids meal options.

When we were there one August, we used up practically all of our snack credits for the week with just bottles of water in a few days. Really easy to blow through them staying hydrated.

You can get a free cup of ice water at any counter service restaurant. Using snack credits for a bottle of water seems rather wasteful.

It really wasn't when we didn't want to eat anything because it was too hot.

You poor thing! Your in-law's heart was in the right place but it seems that their eyes were bigger than your stomachs. Frankly, I would try not to worry about your left over credits. It will drive you crazy and fill you with guilt. Just go ahead and eat how you would like and let the credits fall where they may. Using snack credits is super easy at the candy shop in the MK.

BTW, if you paid OOP for CS meals you may want to talk to a manager at your resort to see if they will reverse the charges and use your credits instead.

I agree about asking about the counter service meals, if you paid cash for them! Also, don't stress if you can avoid it. Try to find any other 2 TS credit places, and buy an extra carry-on bag if you need to and fill it with snacks like bags of candy to share back home!
Good luck! I agree, your in-laws were trying to be super generous! They must be sweet! Hope your vacation ends well!!

We had this problem. I paid for the meals of the people behind me in line at two quick services on our last 2 days.... Might as we'll let someone use it!
We've done this twice before. It's technically not allowed, but hey, why not try to sprinkle a little pixie dust? It all depends on the server.

We use extra snack credits for the drive home:
caramel in Germany/EPCOT and the bakery in France
snacks that are prepackaged at the resort store or any store that has them available at the parks (nice gifts if you need to take any back any)
bottled drinks that we wouldn't normally buy

Since you can use your TS credits for QS meals, it's tons of fun to share some Disney magic with those in line around you! My DD and I often have extra QS credits left and one of our favourite things to do at Disney is buy meals for people in line. You should see their faces and it will bring you such joy!! Same can be done with your snack credits. Can you imagine how fun it would be on a hot, sunny FL day to treat a family to ice cream? They'd talk about that for years!

Enjoy!
