In honor of RobinRS...

I got back in from NYC on Monday afternoon and decided to head over to EPCOT to meet Pandy and Dan Murphy. I was planning on meeting Robin and Micheal on wdenesday at Universal.

Around 8 or 8:30 my ceel phone rings. As best I can remember the call went something like this.......

Hello??

Robin: TONY!!! Where are you????

Me: Hey Robin! I'm at EPCOT. Where are you?

Robin: I'm in the back of an AMBULANCE headed to Sandlake Memorial Hospital!!

Me: WHAT HAPPENED!!!!

Robin: I fell and cracked my head. (right then I knew there was no serious damage ) I tripped at the boat dock at Universal!

Me: What do you need me to do???

Robin: Can you come get Micheal??? He's a wreck!!

Me: Yep...I sure can...just tell me when.....

Robin: I'll call you back when I know what they are gonna do with me...

About an hour later she calls back and says the hotel is there and they are taking care of them. She was headed back to the hotel with a good sized goose egg.

I met her and Mike, along with Pandy and her 2 Things for lunch at Hard Rock Cafe on Wednedsay. The poor girl, her eye was swelled shut and had great big knot!!

It sure was good to see her and JAMAL! Next time be more careful Robin.......Either that or stay on Disney property...They are closer the the hospitals!!!!!

Folks--I can attest that Tony's recollection is pretty much on. He was all but ready to leave then and there and go get Michael, and make sure Robin was OK. (I was there with them too ).

I was lucky enough to get to meet Tony and Dan and Pandy, for a short time that night. And the Things. They are awfully cute!

I'm glad Robin is feeling better and is on the mend!!!

BOY, you must have a recorder on that cell phone, man! That's exactly how it went!

All I remember is a bunch of people looking down at me asking me who in town could they contact. I kept saying "I'm on VACATION!" which should not be news in Orlando... but they wanted a contact and I remembered YOU! So there I am, on a stretcher in the back of an ambulance getting my pressure taken and on a cell phone... technology, BABY!

It is so nice that the DIS can connect people in so many different cities who probably would have NEVER connected in any other way. TVT has been there for me through so much, and I guess as long as I continue to have TRIALS, I will still keeping him on speed dial!

....poor guy!
