Regular search has been back Dan, you need to pay more attention
It's still load limited so try it during quiet times.
Member search is probably not coming back.
The black dot is possible after we see how the loads go, a week at least.

2. Click on profile in a post by that person

I guess that is a way. Just much quicker with member search and can sometimes pull a name with only knowing a few leters.

Regular search will do the same thing, just check the match partial name box.
