Hey all,
So my girlfriend and I are going to be with my family this year in Disney World over the weekend of my girlfriend's birthday. We've both been to Disney many times, and I wanted to do something special for her birthday. She's never had her birthday there, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I could take advantage of being in Orlando with some ideas on things I could get/do for her or us together that the location offers. I feel like I should take advantage of some cool attraction there or couples thing since it's not everyday that you're at Disney World during your birthday. Thanks!

Are you staying in a resort on the property? You can try www.disneyflorist.com to have a basket or something from the website delivered to your room.

Any of the nightclubs at Pleasure Island for party purposes???

Cirque de Soleil??

Reservations for dinner at one of the restaurants - you can arrange for the Happy Birthday cake at the table.

Any of the tours, or even any of the dinner cruises (depending on numbers of people - did you want the whole family or just you and her??), or a character breakfast or dinner (does she have a favourite character - Cinderella's Castle Buffets' ??

When will you be going and how long will you be there for and number of people sort of affects the plan??

So many choices all depends on what she and you like to do.

How about the two of you do the tandem parasailing at the Contemporary?

thanks for the replies all. Yea I was planning to do the tandem para sailing. I think I'm also going to sign her up for a surf lesson at Typhoon lagoon since she's always wanted to learn. Besides that I got nothin. Anyone know of anything I could do that includes the characters (besides a breakfast) or something to do with decorating our hotel room? Thanks for all the suggestions thus far!
