I found out that they have the "6 days before your trip seat selection" because most times the travel booker doesn't send the passenger info to them before that HOWEVER, the guy I spoke to said that a lot of times they can get it up to a month early.
He told me the best thing to do is try the seat selection on their website and if it says it can't find the information or invalid confirmation code, etc it means they don't have it yet and to try another day.
He told me to definately choose seat selection because the day of the trip they won't even try to get people together.
