So this is my first "real" trip report. Please be kind as it is my first time and if you must throw fruit let it be  because they're my favorite. If you are an English teacher :teacher: let this be your fair warning I tend to type as I talk and this is definately NOT going to be grammatically correct. I tend to get comma happy, among other things, so please bear with me.

So here it goes!

DH had a week off of work and we had nothing planned to do. On Monday, while DH and I were just hanging out the topic of Disney came up and how we should just go. I know. . . it's crazy. You can't just get up one day and say, "Hey, it's a beautiful day and we have nothing better to do so let's go to Disney," when you live over 16 hours away. But after the weekend we had been through and DH trying to make me feel better and the realization that we are two of the most boringest 20/30ish somethings on the face of the planet the idea started taking form and then it started growing legs and arms and before you know it, it had a mind of it's own. So, just out of curiosity :rolleyes1 not really going to actually do it, I got online to check into flight info.
We had talked about driving but then we realized that of course there would be the price of gas and one whole day and a few hours change of driving time not to mention needing to rest on both ends after the drive so it didn't take much convincing of ourselves that flying is the way to go.
Well, wouldn't you know that the prices weren't that crazy (like I thought they would be last minute) over at Southwest and getting two flights outta Philly was doable. OK, check, flights look doable but how about a room? Well, just out of curiosity mind you I called OKW directly (because at this point Member Services was closed up tight for the night) to see if they had any rooms available for Wed.-Sun. with our points. Well, I had to be transferred like three times to someone who would be able to assist me but every single person I talked to was very pleasant and I was feeling the Magic already. By the time I got to the last person to see if there was any availability she took my information and proceeded to confirm that there were indeed studios available for our arrival and then she started to book the rooms for us. Well upon finding myself in such a predictament I didn't very well feel I could say, "NOO, wait, I was only seeing if you had any availability I didn't think I was actually going to go through with it." So, I just heard myself saying to myself as she said, "I'm booking that for you now," "Yes ma'am. OK. That is correct. Yes ma'am" I mean I guess she figured I wouldn't go through all that trouble via two previous cast members finally upon reaching her if I wasn't serious about booking the rooms. So, even if I wasn't serious before about going that Super-Dee-Dooper cast member made our decision for us. :cloud9:
So, back over to Southwest I secured the airline tickets and when DH  walked back into the computer room fifteen minutes later I said nonchalantly, "We are going to Disney" and he said, "OK". What a great guy!
We already have a trip planned for November and we had decided that we were going to get Annual Passes so the next thing I did was order my passes online and I was happy to see that we could pick those up at any Guest Services desk w/in the four Disney theme parks.

Would we have any fun on this last minute trip?
Would we forget anything in the last minute scurry?
Would this obsesive compulive planner be able to hang loose and actually enjoy herself w/out months of gruelling planning?

Stay tuned to find out in the next episode of "Impromptu, Last Minute Magical Adventure."
