The VMK Moderating Team would like to ask all VMK'ers to make sure their signature meets the DIS Signature Guidelines. There is a sticky at the top of the page that explains them to you.

We are seeing many that are exceeding the limits.

actually Captain Brain not only is she over by images she also is over in file size by quiet a bit.

* You may have up to 12 lines of text in your signature. This includes blank lines and lines with smilies.

* You may have up to 3 graphic images, including sparkly signatures and countdowns. Each image can be no more than 200 pixels tall and 550 pixels wide.

* The file size of all of your graphics added together must be not more than 50K.

When we say alot of VMKers we really do mean alot! I was even over.....

When I have my window open to the normal size I use, my sig has about 13.
But when I have the window open to full screen, there's only 11.

So is my sig fine or over limit?

Edit- Oh I see what you mean. I think your sig only counts as one line but I am not completely for sure.

I am not sure about the smilies it is best to take your question over to the tech board and ask there. If the smilies are ok let me know. everything else looks great.

Signatures are not moderated by mods that is the job of the webmasters.

I know my thing I wanted to put in it was too big.I will probably just take out the glitter.

I think I change the sig too much!!

Just to show sizes, look below in my signature. On my screen (19" CRT with browser running maximized) I have 4 lines of text ( 3 above the picture and 1 between the picture and signature). My picture is 540 pixels wide by 142 pixels tall, so it is getting close to width limit and not close to height limit. My signature is 494 by 49 pixels, so well within limits. My 2 graphics combined are about 37,000 bytes so I'm ok there too.
