Network solutions forced us to change the way our web addressing is handled and it looks like they have had some major problems with it.
It's very possible you will have problems accessing the boards over the weekend.
If you have issues you can try using this link:

Is that why my avatar is missing and many of the smilie faces are missing, too? Thanks for the warning!

Man I sure wish I had read this yesterday! I was tearing my hair out last night. Here I was all set for a full night of the DIS boards, and I start getting error messages saying they can't find the site. I tried everything, even tried to get in from old e-mail post notifications... nothing. I was sure it was my AOL. :badpc:

I've been going nuts too!

No DISboards since Friday night. I've been trying all weekend and finally after midnight Sunday...well Monday, it's finally working. I wish I had thing this thread before the problem started.

At last I'm finally able to see the boards.

Man, I didn't know what to do when I couldn't check in on the boards this weekend!!! :jumping4: I am glad I can check in now!!! :Pinkbounc :cool1:

Looks like many of us had the same problems! After spending 2 days doing everything to my computer, I finally posted in the rec.arts.disney.parks board where someone informed me of the problem. As someone who visits these boards several times a day, I didn't see any posts from the webmasters or moderators about this problem so I just emailed Webmaster Alex with some questions and suggestions as well. Perhaps it was something that just creeped up on them, but if most of us had trouble with the boards (although home page worked - so in the future, maybe they could post a message there?), how would we have seen this post?

Anyway, glad to see all is working again as they do such a fantastic job with these boards!

"I didn't see any posts from the webmasters or moderators about this problem"

I didn't either and that really surpised me because normally they are so good at keeping us informed (I even checked the Tech board). I'm still getting "Website not responding" or "Site too busy, try back later" several times during the day, and that's unusual. I have noticed less posting going on though, the Theme Park board usually has at least 4 pages a day, and it's been less so I don't think we are alone in having difficulty. :sad2:

Is anyone else having to resign in every time they come back? I have had to resign in every time I leave the site and come back, same day, haven't turned off my computer-cable internet.

Yep, it keeps asking me to sign in again - right after I did!!
Also, I'm finding some (not all) thread links super s-l-o-w...
Anyone else?
Hope they keep us informed,
and hope the problem's resolved soon.

Hi guys.
We posted about the problem on ALL boards as soon as we knew about it (before the errors started going out.) If you notice the original message is from the 8th around Midnight. We tried to get the message out ASAP. The problems you are seeing are residual problems with the way your ISP does a DNS lookup. That is causing the trickle effect for problems. (okay enough techie talk.)

If you are having to log in every time you have a 'bad cookie' and need to clear it. You can try clearing your cookies from your computer and if you have not shut down your cable internet try shutting it down and restarting it.
