IMPORTANT MESSAGE!! Is your stuff being stolen??

I really do not think that anyone stuff is disappearing because they use VMK PAL.

I use it and have never had anything disappear.NOTHING, nada, zip the only time things disappeared from my account was in the beginning of VMK and Pal was not even around.

Mal, I dont mean to say that Pal itself is the culprit, but if you cannot be 100% certain that noone else will use your computer, then you shouldnt save any passwords at all, ever, anywhere. Not in Pal, not in IE, or Firefox, or Netscape. The main issue is these kids are using it without regard for personal security and then their stuff gets stolen. Also, like I said, one of these kids could also be a little computer genius who writes a very small program and sends it to his friends and hacks all of their passwords. VMK Pal is NOT secure like the Windows PWL files are.

Something I noticed recently when I emptied a room of furniture to my holding inventory. It seems to not show everything when I hold way too much stuff. Then I began to put it all in a room and more and more started to show up again. You can to do this with cloths so I wonder if you start to sell the clothes you no longer use, or move the things to a mule if your missing items wont just re appear too? I think its a bug that you dont see it when you have too much stuff.

Someone who has stuff missing will you try to move or sell stuff to another person to see if you dont find your stuff back too? Ill bet you do. I would love to hear the answer to this. Then I think we need to use contact us to report the bug.

I understand what you are saying, I just wanted to interject that VMK Pal is not stealing their stuff.

I totally agree that it is because the passwords were compromised either by the use of a public computer(at school, friends house, their own that they let a friend use etc)but Pal is not to blame.

You even looked in your inventory? I have had that happen to me but nothing was stolen. It was just as VMK bug - when your room gets messed around and stuff, all of my things were in my inventory. Yes, I was upset but I ended up putting it all back together. Oh - and is your password or member name easy so if someone goes on VMK and knows your name so they would try the same thing for a member name? Many of people have had this happen but just as mtlhddoc2 said - it isn't possible for someone to know everyone's account member name and password. And yes VMK does know your passwords and member names just in case you forget it .
