I did not read everyones replies so this may be a duplicate but...

Is there a way that maybe we can salvage the DIS meet pictures? I would hate to lose some of those priceless pictures. I had suggested a long time ago in chat that maybe have a DIS meets/pics board seperate from the CB or whatever. I know Pete was in chat that night and thought it was a good idea. Just a suggestion because I know I call upon those old pics once in a while.

Yes we can.. in my experience most of the one's over a year old are red x's anyway. But those that are still good can be bumped between now and the weekend.

ooops sorry Donna. I guess I should have read. I think a seperate meets board would be great - then people would not be complaining about slow loading pics - it would be their choice to go there!

When photopoint.com pulled up stakes, a lot of my picture posts turned into red x's. Whenever anyone points this out to me, I try to post new links to the missing photos. If anyone runs into a picture post of mine with red x's, please let me know and I'll try to fixup the links.

Yes, alas...some of the are...thanks to the Photopoint escapade last year I still do have all my photos stored on discs though, so I can eventually fix my older, red-x showin' threads. As for threads by others with X's...not much I can do about those, I'm afraid

A huge undertaking, I know...however, if the threads get bumped they'll at least still exist for you to work on at some point?
