Important Bailey's Question

For an upcoming social event, I need to know how to serve Bailey's Irish Cream to my guests. Now, I know Bailey's is considered a cordial on ot's own, but that it's used in other concoctions which require the use of a small coffee-type lgass, But this is going to be straight Bailey's.

Do I use shot glasses? Do I use small fluted glasses (not the larger fluted ones used for champagne)? Do I use the glass coffee glasses? Those came with the Bailey's gift set that I got, but those glasses seem too big to drink straight Bailey's.

Another important question: is Bailey's served on ice, chilled, warmed, or room temp? It says on the bottle that it can be done any of those ways, but I've never been served Bailey's any way but room temp, except when it was mixed with coffee.

I've gong online and done searches, but there's no specific info, just Bailey's recipes, which I dont need at this time.

This may sound silly, but it's sort-of important.

My parents serve it on ice in a regular bar glass.

I'd use either nice shot glasses or the small fluted cordial glasses.

give them one shot of baileys, followed by one shot of lime juice and make sure they swish it together in their mouths for the right effect.

i'm just kidding, you probably don't want to do that.

You may serve it a room temp also. I keep mine in the fridge because DH insists it will go bad if left out after opening. Not true. I usually get one "Bottle with Glasses" at Christmas, I use them, or the liquor stems from my crystal.

Sadly, I have been known to drink it out of the bottle when there were no glasses to be had in the hotel room!

same here. didn't buy my Baileys this year since no one had a decent sale for it. shame. I really like it.
