This day is our Magic Kingdom day! Tues, Oct 9th. Mother-in-laws birthday!
We take the boat from Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom. As soon as we get on Main St we got my MILs birthday badge and phone call from Goofy.
We head straight for Tomorrowland. MIL and 9yr son go on Buzz over and over and over(3 times for them). Before I head to Space Mtn and husband goes to Alien I grab fastpasses for Buzz Lightyear. Husband, son and I then go on Buzz 3 more times. Im really bad at this but my son loves it. We met our neighbors unexpectedly on Buzz Lightyear. Actually our fastpasses cut us into the standby line right in front of them.
We head to Frontierland and Big Thunder Mtn. Son and I rode this 3 times.
I grab fastpasses for Haunted Mansion and we head for lunch.
We meet friends from our home town at Pecos Bills for lunch as planned.
After going through the Haunted Mansion, we all head to Adventureland and ride the Pirates of the Caribbean and the Jungle Cruise. (Jungle Cruise fastpass was down because of the lack of crowds, believe me I tried as it was in the plans.)
Husband and son split and go one way, MIL goes another way and I head off by myself. I guess we all needed time to ourselves. I watched the 3pm parade, took ride on Tomorrowland Transit Authority, took pictures while leaving and then met everyone back at the Wilderness Lodge room.
Take a swim, have a drink.
Then we're off to Arabian Nights dinner show. MIL has wanted to go here so we go for her birthday. MIL gets in free with a full paying adult because it is her birthday, needed her license for proof. I have a $10 off coupon to cover my son and I, so I saved another $20. I also had an extra which I gave to the family in front of us which saved them $50. This show was beautiful. You know Les Greenwoods song Proud to be an American? I believe that was the ending. Horses prancing around with flags, etc. The entire audience stood up for that!
Back to Wilderness Lodge and off to bed to get ready for what we thought was our last Disney Day!
