Well, we never like to see vacations come to an end! LOL But, it *did* make it a little easier since it was Christmas Eve! I am hoping to actually be IN WDW next year for Christmas Day, and that was something to look forward to as well.
Speaking of that, I noticed something I didn't ever notice before - lots of people at the BWI .. several at the Grand, at the WL too, had their balconies decorated for Christmas, with lights and all! LOL It was cute!! Somehow, I just never realized this goes on!
We'd gotten everything packed up the night before, so it was an easy morning. I got ready to go very quickly, just so I could spend the last bit of time of the trip sitting out on the balcony, watching the hotel come to life - trying to 'get my fill' to hold me over for several months 'til I'm back again. I had to hustle Evan along though - he can be SLOOOOOOW getting up/ready! LOL
After a light breakfast from concierge, it was time to head over to the driver who was waiting ::sniff:: While Dave and Evan went outside with the bellman, I ran up to the MB concierge floor -- I wanted to wish them a Merry Christmas, and drop off something for James & Rebecca too. He especially has really been so great to work with, and so very helpful this year! As I was leaving, and saying that I'll see them in a few months for my big 4-0 birthday, James said "Oh, we'll have to put our heads together and come up with something REALLY spectacular for that"! LOL Soooooo naturally, being me <g>, I shot back with "WELL .. now that ya mention it ... I *have* thought about it , and I DO have some ideas..... " heheheh.... If he comes through with either of them, I will flip -- they're bigger and better than the monorail dinner idea! LOL
We were soon all back in the limo and on the way home. The flight back was uneventful, and even ended up arriving 15 min or so early. Airports weren't crowded at all either, even though it was Christmas Eve. I've found the same thing every year really!
That's about it! LOL Sorry I didn't get to do this in 'real time'!! I do think it's more fun that way!! If anyone has questions, feel free to ask!
