My crocuses have finally poked themselves above the ground. Even so they are late. These are the ones in my backyard that get the sun all day and are right up against the house. In years past, I've had them in bloom in January. Just having the green part barely above ground is not a big thing. However after the second coldest January on record around here, I'll take any sign of Spring
