Now before anyone starts a debate about why Cheney's tax rate is so low, "The Cheneys donated just under $6.87 million to charity from the stock options and royalties from Mrs. Cheneys books."

Since that info is reported to the IRS by the banks, it is easily verified was never the audit trigger.
