Quite cold today. I have a chiropractic appointment today, then I need to decide on what sort of chores to do.

I'm getting ready for the community garage sale tomorrow...........wish we weren't doing it, but DD brought over a bunch of stuff yesterday and DGS has been cleaning out his toys for a couple of weeks. So a day gone for me and I have so many things to do.

It'll be worth the hassle in the end. It's really good to get kids started early on the habit of periodically cleaning out their stuff. Plus, hopefully someone will be so happy to find exactly what you donated!

Everyone has it at their house.
So we will be out early setting up and manning it all day....7am-3pm. They do it twice a year

Oh, yuck! I thought you had to drop off stuff at a church or something. I never have my own yard sales anymore because I hate picking up at the end. (It all goes to the Lodge flea market instead - which I do help out with, but it's a "many hands" thing".) Best of luck!!!

We usually do Goodwill, but both kids have things to get rid of, so here we go. Of course, they bring it over and we sit with it all day.
We did it last spring too, but I'm so busy, I was hoping they would skip this time

How did the yard sale go, Meriweather?

It was fine, but got too hot, so we closed down early.
Next time we need more help. DS bought 13 containers of clothes and toys. Nothing was marked. At least this time he sorted the clothes by size.
Took a long time to set up and bringing everything back in was a challenge in the sun. Our driveway was full sun by 12:30.
But everyone was happy with the money they made.

We have a quiet day. Bike ride later. This is restaurant weekend locally, and we will try a new to us restaurant for dinner. Last night’s selection was very good. We will go there again.
