I'm.........

I’m….don’t judge me….am putting up Christmas tree #1 :duck:

It’s Katie’s tree in her bedroom - it’s a decent size - as tall as me, which is about 5’7” and skinny so it doesn’t take up to much space. I’m getting this one done and completed so she can enjoy it at Thanksgiving and not have to be bothered with doing it herself. I’m not going to put it on a timer until the day before she comes home.

The two big trees get put up the week before Thanksgiving - it’ll be here before I know it. I’m not gonna lie…putting up two big trees is starting to lose its luster - I’d be fine with just one. But as long as I keep hosting all the holidays, I’ll keep doing it - everyone enjoys looking at them.

@slo , my DH would be applauding you. It’s never too soon to begin decorating for Christmas! We hope you’re listening to some Christmas music while you decorate.:santa:

Have fun with the tree.
I can't do it this early, but go for it.

All our decorations and tree (except outside decorations) will go up starting Thanksgiving evening when we get home.
We leave Dec. 4 and want to have it done by then

I'm getting ready for family lunch today.
We haven't had one for awhile.
Not sure if the pool is warm enough anymore, but they can check. The solar was closed down a few days ago.

We got the next booster today, so we’re taking it easy. Actually, Tom is sleeping, and I’m here or reading. There’s more outside work to do, but I am still tired from the drive, but can’t sleep.

DD got hers last night.
She feels horrible today. Heavy sore arm, achy all over and now a bit of a fever.
Our 5th shot had no side effects at all

I’m about ready to leave for work. Very rainy day here - makes me wish my Oak Tree had dropped all its leaves so we can get them picked. Picking up wet leaves is so much easier than picking up dry brittle leaves - messier, but easier.

Our fig tree is losing its leaves now. I hope DH will be up for dealing with them.

Always such a mess.
We have a huge Oak tree losing it‘s leaves - we’ll pick them up next weekend. We also live next to a forest, so we get all those leaves too. It usually takes us 3-4 hours to clean everything up - our yard is a good size. Normally Katie helps us to have it go faster, but not this year, so it will take us a little longer.
She was horrible on Saturday (she got it Friday evening). Better Sunday but had a bad headache and very tired.
Almost back to normal yesterday. She has about the same reaction to the first shot.
My DH did not feel well after his most recent one too (he got his last week). He got his on a Thursday and felt better by Sunday.

Well, I hope everyone has recovered from their immunizations! I have a friend who had a bad one day reaction to the flu shot.

It’s staying in the 50’s here today, but it’s sunny, so, that’s good.

Mentioned on another thread that Tom rode his bike with me for a bit yesterday! Yeah!
