I’m a little annoyed - just got an email explaining why the school system is going back to in-person learning. With the amount of people sick with COVID around here I was really hoping the school system would do 2 weeks of e-learning to give everyone a chance to get over any illness they may have gotten over Christmas break. Hopefully Katie won’t bring home anything

I’m done with boxing up the Christmas decorations, and now it all needs to go in the attic tonight. The house now needs a good dusting and vacuuming to pick up all the glitter and needles from the trees, wreaths & garland - I’ll be doing that this morning instead of working out. I work at 1:00pm today, so I should have enough time to do all that. Really looking forward to having this be done. Then once it’s done, it’s washing walls season - I really hate washing walls .

I’m going out in the 7 degree morning soon to do some grocery shopping and then this afternoon is when the GE service person is coming to look at the dryer. I’m really hoping he finds what’s wrong with it, because it should not take a new dryer 2 hours to dry an average load of towels.

Good luck with the dryer.
Mine does take about 90 minutes for towels or jeans.....but it is old. You would think newer ones would be more efficient.
Our dishwasher just quit, so we will be shopping for a new one after vacation. At least it is easier to hand wash dishes than to dry clothes

I’m finishing up my breakfast and then washing dining room walls - good thing to do on a cold Sunday.

Dryer guy said the dryer is fine, so I guess I need to adjust my thinking that clothes should dry in an hour .

I’ve worked on laundry and unpacking, have caught up with some friends, and began putting Christmas things away. My Dsis and Garry surprised us with a quick visit and took Gus for a walk!

It’s good to be home, primarily for the catching up with friends!

I’m sitting at the Toyota dealership to get an oil change and I’ve been here for 2 hours now. I watched 2 episodes of Lost and now I’m posting this. I wasn’t expecting a quick in and out, but holy cow, this is kinda ridiculous. I hope it’s done soon, I have to go home and get ready for work.

I’m sitting at the Toyota dealership to get an oil change and I’ve been here for 2 hours now. I watched 2 episodes of Lost and now I’m posting this. I wasn’t expecting a quick in and out, but holy cow, this is kinda ridiculous. I hope it’s done soon, I have to go home and get ready for work.

When was it finally finished?

I had a tooth extraction this morning, and I’m a bit under the weather.
Yesterday two biopsies taken on my face. Later this week an appointment to set up a colonoscopy. No wonder I really wanted our vacation to last longer!

I’m curious to see how many patients we have cancel today due to COVID. Everyday we’ve had 2-3 cancellations - it’s been crazy. When COVID was huge in 2020 we had almost no cancellations and now it’s all the time. I’m very proud of our patients for being so responsible with canceling - we have good patients/people coming in the office.
