laying noodles all over the front yard garden......found them at Walmart...round ones great for stuffing ..fresh noodles are the best to use when protecting your garden hose as it lays across the gravel yard during the summer...just make a split and then encase the hose inside the noodle...they were on sale because of they were pink...presto cheap insulation on an expensive summer irrigation system.

rain dance is not working....i have goose bumps here on the Mexico border.

rain dance exhausted me...so I napped for 3 hours in the very late afternoon...outside on the living room patio...reclined in my lazy-boy....feeling raindrops and fresh cold air brush across my face.....

I’m wishing I didn’t have to work today - it’s going to be in the 80’s here in the Chicagoland area. I could get a lot of yard work done today if I were home.

I’m proud of DD - she hit home run #39 last night.
I really hope she hits her fortieth when I’m there.

I’m having a low key day today - just working.
DD has a far away away game today, so I’m unable to attend - I can’t get there in time. Luckily I have friends that keep me updated with how her and the team are doing.

The very good part is that the weather is dry. On our last road trip to FL, we hit very strong rain, and it added hours to each segment.

Baking day.....they are both baking cookies today. Chocolate chip and sugar.
Those are going in the May baskets they made a few weeks ago. And they will deliver those to a few friends on Saturday.
They are finishing up candy dispensers in wood working. Last day in the shop. Getting too hot.
Moving in and DGD is going to do circuits and/or coding and DGS is going to built Legos and do paper crafts

DGD comes here to cook dinner tonight too. She is making meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Her new vegetable to try is jicama

wife is in mexico...I can turn the stero up and listen to ambience music or spa music ...wife does not like listening to it...says it depresses here...it gives me hope and joy and use it as a background to write my pen-pal letters...not really letters...more like essays of living in a backyard...a few folks in oregon threatend to publish me....but I just happy listening to my ambience.
