Good morning!

I’m going for me first COVID test today - up the nose - I’m not looking forward to it . I need it for my upcoming colonoscopy on Thursday.

They did not go all the way up the nose - just midway up.
I’ll get the results today - I’m sure it’s negative.

Good morning!

DD is in the hospital due to having contractions.
She‘s only 35 weeks, so this is not good.
Hopefully they can settle these contractions down and then put her on some medication to keep the contractions from starting again. Doctor wants her to get to 37 weeks before delivering. She has not had an easy pregnancy from the very beginning - she‘s very ready to be done. I wish I could see her - it’s killing me that I can’t go to her.

I'm prepping for a reasonably easy day at work while simultaneously prepping for a dinner tonight for our Webelos 2 Cub Scout den who is about to graduate to Boy Scouts this weekend. Since a Covid scare in our pack coupled with gathering limitations AND a snow storm here in the south canceled pack banquet (Blue and Gold) plans, this group is getting their own recognition dinner.

We are a scouting family, both sons became Eagle Scouts, and we were involved. Enjoy what you can do! They were good times!

My son is also an Eagle Scout. DH was very involved with scouts, even after DS was done.

Thanks for the well wishes for Stephanie.
She got a shot this morning to help calm the contractions and then she gets another one in a few hours. I’m really praying these shots work.

DD is home but not resting comfortably.
Keeping fingers crossed that the baby will stay put for at least 2 more weeks to allow the lungs to develop a little more.
I think my grand baby will have a March birthday instead of an April birthday.

I’m having a liquid diet today - colonoscopy tomorrow - those are always fun . Normally after a colonoscopy either my DH or my mom (depends on who takes me) goes out to breakfast afterwards, but this time that won’t happen - my procedure time is 11:30am. That’s a bummer - breaks tradition.

I had a good dentist check up, and celebrated by sharing a cheese steak and fried mozzarella sticks with DH.

I'm going to get gas today......forgot all about it when I was out yesterday. I do it so seldom anymore.
But driving an hour each way tomorrow for vaccination, not familiar with the area, so want a full tank.
Then we are going to the zoo on Sunday
