Good to hear! You will be moved in before you know it. Can we see the hubby carry you across the new threshold?
That would be truly something to see! DH with his scoliosis and me being taller and weighing more than I should

.
Good news: We have actually set up all rooms except the loft which will be my relaxing/crafting/whatever area (along with bedroom 4). Last night I finally located the misdirected boxes in the basement so we can finish setting up the kitchen. There's still lots of decorating and odds and ends to do but we are starting to feel like this is now home. I love the mountain views and having my sister and nephew here with us until June 6th. I really like the LG washer and dryer found in the house and who'd have thought that having a laundry sink for the first time and 2 utility sinks in the basement could make me so happy!
Bad news: Yesterday we had pea-sized hail, thunder, a 3 hour tornado watch and lots of rain providing quite a bit of outside entertainment.....I liked it all but DH worried about car and roof damage (none happened).
The Post Office will take up to 3 weeks to start delivering mail to us. We had to provide practically our entire settlement package to begin the process but hopefully will be allowed to pick up our mail within 10 days (huh?).
Our beautiful MB walk-in shower probably has a leak under the pan; the refrigerator won't produce ice cold water or cubes and DH (the family cook) is unhappy with the kitchen layout and options for arranging storage etc. All these are things a home inspection will not typically uncover.
And Tuesday night, I somehow overdid the box lifting and pulled a muscle causing excruciating sciatica pain whenever I lift my left arm or my left leg to climb stairs etc. So DH made me spend today resting; no box lifting, no organizing, no nothin'. Bad for the house; good for DIS time!
We knew there would be house expenses and planned for them but DH is still upset. He will get over it all I'm sure!
