Finally got DH to agree to what the seller proposed to fix etc. DH was driving DS and me crazy....

Now we move into the big packing stage so some of my time on the DIS will disappear

I'm taking BFF back to the airport today.

Love the Grand Canyon. This stay was long enough to do a lot. We even hiked part way down the canyon....and thought we would die on the way back up So hard and steep.

Oh I hate heights. I could never do that hike. Did you hike down the bright angel trail?

I'm going to our financial planner with DH (UGH!), lunch out with DH and then accompany him to his orthopedic appointment; home afterwards and then an evening out with BFs from last school I worked in; hate to say goodbye to them!

yes.....saw the mules going down ahead of us.
It was so hard. Only 2.25 miles, but took us 2 hours to get back up. Had to stop to rest every 5 minutes.

Always hard to say goodbye to friends.....just have to tell them they have a new place to come visit.
BFF and I go to each others house once a year and then our annual Jan. trip somewhere.

I am in sticker shock! Got a price on a new heat pump for my sister's house in Cape May! We own both houses together, so, I guess paying 1/2 won't be too bad!

Yes, our move is less than 6 weeks away bobbi!

We have been experiencing the same shock bobbi. Some of the repairs etc. that our new house needs will be $$$! Two new water heaters to replace both currently there, each with different problems. The current gas stove isn't vented and isn't required to be by law there but DH cooks quite a bit of messy/smelly food so we will somehow have to add a vent system to that stove located on a counter in the middle of the room. Our sellers are crediting us with some costs but still..........Not to mention repainting the rooms and refinishing the huge deck; strengthening the deck stairs.....

DH has told me that his secret $ stash in an account I couldn't access until recently can be used for flying back to visit relatives and friends here in MD.
