I'm wait listed -help

Forgive me but I've this is my first time on a wait list and I was looking for some guidance. I just booked a BC studio for the week of aug 17 - 23 (fri-thu). However, I had to wait list one night (Aug 20-mon). I booked BWV for the one night as a back up.

Should I be worried about getting this one night to complete my week? Is there any predictability as to when wait listed rooms normally come through (or not)? Also, I was curious as to why one monday night would be sold out as ther are no special events that day.

just hang loose it will normally free-up no later than 30 days out

otherwise buy a cash ressie @ BC or stay with the BW back-up

When one refers to a cash ressie, do they mean in a BC or BCV room? Also, would an AP discount apply to a DVC room?

You can make a cash reservation to stay at BCV and then link your point reservation with the cash reservation. I don't think AP discounts are available, but MS does offer member discounted rates sometimes, you just need to see if one is available during that time. At least this way you wouldn't have to change resorts.
