so I'm really like going to email someone in Merchandise at Disney or the disney store....there's all these cool things for girls...princess dresses, princess shoes, etc etc etc...

why don't they have like a Pirates and Prince themed outfits for boys? has this been done and nobody bought? I would like to buy a box of stuff that had a pirate costume, a prince outfit, maybe even a cowboy outfit like Woody's...or a buzz lightyear outfit??? don't boys like to play dress up?

anyways..i just saw a box of princess stuff at my son's daycare and was like BLAH!!

i know! i have a 14 m/o son and it's really hard to find cute boy disney stuff to wear. :sad2:

i'd like more adult villians stuff for me.

Girls can be far more and better than "Princesses."

My DD5 loves her doctor suit.

She uses it to pretend to be a veterinarian, pediatrician or even dentist.

She also pretends to teach school, run a store and help dogs at the shelter.

She is wanting an outfit like the girl Penny wears in "Bolt."

Still hoping she will take an interest in cleaning, cooking, etc...:laundy:

We bought adorable costumes for our sons at the Disney Store online. We have prince costumes, pirates, Woody and his horse, Stitch, Peter Pan. We also bought a Knight costume at a thrift store for a buck. It is velveteen and this metallic material. :thumbsup2 We have an awesome fireman's outfit. (gram spent bigger bucks for it) and a doctor's outfit. I really wanted to splurge for an astronaut suit for them, but now they are mostly grown out of pretend play. I made a Zorro costume for cheap that my son worse for years. He loves capes. I could go on and on......

Our kids never had any video games until this year and we live in the sticks, so pretend play was a biggie at our house.

Check ebay, disneyshopping and amazon. I tried to wait for sales. My daughter was really into the princess dresses for years. Now she is into horses.

Oh, and when our youngest was 2, he had his first Halloween and refused to dress up. So finally we found this pumpkin costume (just a giant felt pumpkin) and bribed him to get into it with some candy. He would only wear that for dress up for 2 years while his sibs wore all the prince/princess costumes.:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: He would tantrum if we didn't give him a piece of candy when he put it on loooooong after Halloween. :rotfl:

The funniest thing besides that was when one of our kids'f friends came over. He was a unique kid with LOTS of energy. He insisted on putting on my daughter's Tink outfit and ran around flitting with the wand and wings. :rotfl2:

I love dressup.:wizard:

Why can't they have more Pirate stuff for girls? My girls like the Princesses but they are getting more into Jack Skellington and Captain Jack now. And more villan stuff, there's rarely anything good that's villan themed.....I would love to see more merch like that out there.

I make my DD Pirate, Cars and Toy Story clothes all the time. I guess I should start adding some of those things to my etsy shop for other girls LOL.

My DS is into Steamboat Willy, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars. He gets along well enough.

Fortunately my DD is beyond the Princess age.

You should! You'd get a lot of buyers I bet.

Well, actually WDW now has the Pirate School, Pirate League makeover like BBB...they did the Pirate & Princess Party before. I don't think boys are being excluded...but arent they more likely to strap on a sword/raygun/gun and be off and running (like my nephews) or do they really want to "dress up"?

My dd8 will be doing the Pirate League Makeover...they have a girl pirate costume she thinks totally rocks!

I guess it would be easier for me if they had the stuff widely available like they do at walmart/target...etc...but I guess I'll have to do more diggin..and checkin on websites...but sometimes the princess stuff in a box is pretty cheap...I bought a pirate costume for my son and it was like $40....I was like dam!!! bu the better looking ones were costly...so I had thought about buying other costumes and having them for dress up but they are so expensive (for my budget)....
