I'm technically challenged. Please help

Forgive my lack of knowledge of computer terms. I can't click on a link and have it pop right up. A setting must have gotten changed. Netscape is coming up but we used something else prior to this problem. Was it called microsoft something or other? Please help me fix this.

What OS are you using? Windows XP, 2000, 98? Try a search (Find in 98) to see if the file "IEXPLORE.EXE" is on your system. If it's there, try double clicking on the file name when it shows up. It should say something like "IE is not your default browser. Do you want to make it the default?" Read the questions & tell it you want IE as the default & not ask you again. There should be a checkbox for that.

Let us know if that works.

Thanks very much. IE is my browser. When I click on that file, it brings up my internet home page. But when I try to click on links, Netscape is showing up.
