Goofus' poor old ticker is getting so wore out from beating and beating and beating for SOOOOOOOO very long (you know how old he is), that it just plain needs new batteries.
You know the other day I thought it had given out for good..... I was so scared when I opened my internet, and the front page read "Oldest person in the US dies"...... I thought..... "Oh, my Goofus is gone"
But alas, it was his twin cousin.... born just minutes before him. 
He's still around for awhile.... but we can't delay for long.... please does anyone have even some used batteries we could get some use from???
