I'm taking the kids to Cleveland...m

My kids have Thur-Mon off and my Dh only has Monday off. I thought I'd do something with the kids while he's at work... so I'm going to take a quick overnight trip (Thur morning-Fri after dinner) to Cleveland. My Mom is going to come too...mostly because we both love Joe's Crab Shack (seafood ).

Anyway...we have rain and shine plans. I can pull the weather up on weather.com but can anyone give me a local news station online to check the weather?

Also....any insider tips on where to go with young kids (7, 5 and 4)? We're planning on the Zoo and maybe the Children's museum. I'd be willing to skip the Children's Museum (BTDT) if anyone can give me another late afternoon family attraction.

My boys (4,7,10) love the zoo there, and the science museum. And the natural history museum. They have Balto (stuffed) there! Have a great time!

Does the science museum have a lot of hands on stuff?

I did think about going there instead of the Children's Museum.

Yes it does. It is down by the stadium on the lake. We always have fun there! They also do demos, etc.

The Great Lakes Science Center is right next door to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There's lots to see and do at the GLSC and I think your kids would have a ball.

Thanks....I think we'll plan on the Science center and the zoo (with a rain plan of the Children's Museum).. That, and 2 dinners at Joe's Crab Shack
