OK. We just spent 10 days in the world and ate so much food. I don't even want to step on a scale! :rotfl:
It was Me, DH, DS 5, and DD 2. My parents ate with us on most of our dinners. All of us were on the dining plan.
*Arrived Friday Nov 27th and after checking in to CBR, had dinner at the food court there. Food was OK. I had the pork loin, DH had bacon cheeseburger, both kids had pizza.

*Saturday started with a 9:45 breakfast at Cape May. We were seated immediately and just in time to see Donald Duck. We were very happy with this meal. We are not big breakfast eaters but usually try one new spot every trip. The food was delicious. They had the best fruit selection also. We were done eating in 30 minutes and could have left except we hadn't seen Minnie and Goofy yet so we waited. Total time to eat was aroung 45 minutes. Not bad for a character meal. Will definitely come back here.
*Dinner ADR for 4:40 at Garden Grill. Seated immediately again. We have eaten here before and still loved it. The mahi-mahi was delicious. The flank steak was just ok, kind of tough, but everything else was great. Dessert was blueberry cobbler with fresh vanilla bean cream on top. I don't like blueberries so I didn't eat it but my DH liked it. The cream was very good.

*Sunday lunch at Rosie's and Catalina Eddie's @ HS. I had pizza, DH had italian sandwich, kids had pizza again. My mom had caesar salad with chicken and my dad had a burger. All was good.
6:30 ADR at Biergarten. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated. This was our 1st time here. The atmosphere was great. The kids enjoyed the music. We sat at a table with a group of 4 and had a good time talking to them. DH and my dad liked the food here but I'm not a fan. The chicken was good and the soup was good but I have found that I'm not a fan of German food. Also, no kids selections for the picky eaters. My daughter ate bread and fruit and my som ate a chicken leg and fruit. I'm still glad we tried it though.

*Monday lunch at Cosmic Rays. We eat here on every trip and were not disappointed. I had the ribs which were very tender, DH had baked chicken, kids had chicken nuggets, and my parents both got one of the wraps. Everyone enjoyed their food. The wraps are huge and can easily be shared. Next time I think my DH and I will split a meal here also.
Dinner 6:40 ADR at 1900 Park Fare. Waited 5 minutes to be seated. I was a little worried about this one because of the bad reviews I've read but this was one of our faves! The food was really good. The carving station had prime rib and sirloin strip which were both good. They also had a stir fry section which was very tasty. The desserts were really good too. We LOVED the characters here. We saw Cinderella 1st who was very sweet to my DD who was celebrating her 3rd birthday. Next came the Prince who was charming. But the best was still to come. The stepsisters were hilarious. They were having so much fun with the guests. My son though they were the funniest thing. The stepmother was also in character. Very fun. We will definitely come back here.

That's enough for now. I'll be back with the rest of my reviews later. Got to get back to work!:sad1:

Doesn't work always interfere with Disboards? :thumbsup2

OK continuing...
*Tuesday lunch at Mara. (We checked in there on Sunday night) AKL food court is much smaller then the value and moderates we have stayed at but the food was really good. I had the chicken pita which was tasty. DH had the she-crab soup which was good.
We had early dinner ADRs at 4:40 at Boma before going to MVMCP. We have eaten here before but it was a 1st for my parents. We all loved it. They have the best soups there. The carving station had pork loin and prime rib which were good. They had 3 different kinds of hummus which were really good. Plus the desserts are excellent. Zebra domes are always good but they had a banana bread pudding with vanilla sauce which I think was even better then Ohana's.

*Wednesday lunch at Yak & Yeti counter service. Not as good as the last time. I had the kung pao beef and DH had honey chicken. I should have just used 2 snack credits to get 2 eggrolls and some fried rice which would have been plenty for lunch. Oh well, maybe I'll remember next time we visit.
*Dinner 6:40 at Ohana's. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. This was the slowest service of our trip. The chicken wings and dumplings were great. The shrimp and pork were really good. Turkey was a little dry, The steak was a little over-cooked. The bread pudding was delicious as always. It took forever for them to bring the kids meals out which were hotdogs. All of that good food and the kids ate hot dogs... oh well. We did not get done until 8:15. That was a lolng time for the kids to sit.

*Thursday lunch at Mara again. I got the chicken pita again and DH got the turkey ciabatta which was good.
*Dinner 6:15 at Chef Mickey. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Food was good. They had a shrimp salad on the buffet which was really good. The potatoe casserole was yummy also. The kids loved the desserts. All of the characters were great and did not seem rushed.

*Friday 8:40 Akershus breakfast. Waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Food was good. We liked Cape May better but it was still good. The eggs were not runny and the bacon was crisp. The potatoes were yummy. The cold buffet was good with lots of fruit and pastries. We saw Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, and Aurora.
*Dinner 6:40 at Le Cellier. They were running abou 20 minutes behind so we were seated about 7:05. My mom and I had the New York Strip which was cooked to perfection. DH and my dad had the coffee-rubbed Kansas City strip which they said was good. We all had different desserts. The chocolate mousse, apple tart, chocolate whiskey cake, and smores. The cake was the best but they were all good.

*Saturday lunch at Tusker House. We were out of table service credits but decided to see if they had availability for lunch. We got there at 11:35 and were seated immediately. I was surprised since it was so hard getting ADRS on line prior to our trip. The food was good. Lots of selections. The couscous is yummy, the salmon was also good.

Well, that's it. Overall we had a great experience. We never waited a long time for seats plus most of the places we ate at did not seem to be full, only Ohana and Le Cellier looked packed. Now I have to wait 2 more years to go back....:sad1:

Thank you for your reviews! It stinks to have to wait so long to go back. We had gone in 2003 and we finally got to go again in May 2009. It was way too long!

Love to detail on the reviews - only been back home for two days and missing Disney already!
