im STILL confused....

i have had an account on here before and this is my new one. but since i have never had tags, i dont really understand how it works at all. im sorry i know this is a small question, but can anyone expalin?

the tag fairy has to give it to you to make it colourful and to make it move.you can't do that yourself.when you make it your self it is only black writing and doesn't move.

The Tag Fairy (or TF for short) either sees something funny/witty/stupid you say and puts it as your tag (the words under your username). He/She also may just color what you already have written underneath.

The mysterious TF also has been seen to reply to posts (he/she has an account!) and write in people's siggies.
