This is my first PTR so we'll see how this goes.
First off here's who's going:
Me: a 21 year old college student, future physician assistant, my favorite Disney movie is Peter Pan, my favorite ride is Peter Pan's Flight or Rock'n'Roller Coaster
Mom: she'd kill me if I gave her age, the only person who can rival me for my love of Disney, favorite movie is Beauty and the Beast, favorite ride is either IASW or Spaceship Earth
Sister: still TBD, she's a teacher who has been substituting since she graduated and isn't sure if she's going or not because she wants to work, but she'll probably give in and go, the family pin collector, favorite movie is Toy Story or Inside Out, favorite ride is Rock'n'Roller Coaster.
We'll be there from February 25-March 5 during my Spring Break. My spring break is really early so I'm hoping we'll miss the usual Spring Break crowds. Originally we were going to do a 3 night cruise and then spend a few days at WDW, but my mom wasn't big on the idea of a Disney cruise because a) it's expensive b) there's no casino c) she didn't think there would be enough for us to do. I told her she was crazy, but whatever. So we settled on a full week at WDW instead. Not that anyone had to twist my arm. As of right now we're booked at Saratoga Springs, and we're wait listed at Wilderness Lodge. We've stayed at SS a long time ago; it was the first onsite resort we stayed at actually, but we really want to try a new resort so hopefully we'll get WL. We'll also be there at the beginning of F&G which I'm so excited about. We were just there in May and I loved trying the different food booths and looking at the topiaries.
We had a Disney planning session over lunch at Max & Erma's today and settled on our ADRs because our booking day is the 29th. Only 8 days away! I offered to stay up until Midnight so that we'd get all of the reservations we want. So far we're planning for:
Tusker House Breakfast
Cinderella's Royal Table Breakfast
Boma Dinner
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Raglan Road
Afternoon Tea at GF
All of these are new places to us except the Afternoon Tea which we did last year and it was the highlight of our entire trip.
I'm so excited to be going back for the 2nd time in one year. Two years ago we went over my Christmas break and I got sick (thanks carabba's) about 3 days in, so I only went to MK and Epcot and I was feeling pretty miserable. Last year I was trying to lose weight to get into the Navy so I couldn't enjoy all of the yummy food. I'm hoping this trip will make up for the last two trips.
I'll try to update again when our ADRs are booked.
See ya real soon!
