i have been reading the threads today and have not been able to figure out what the candlelight processional is. can someone please tell me. as far as i can figure out it is a meal with a show but in what park and what kind of show.

Don't be sorry! Asking questions is how we all start to learn about all the great stuff at WDW. If you click on the bar at the top that says events and scroll down, you will find the link to the Candlelight Processional. I tried to copy the link for you but I'm hopeless with getting the computer to cooperate with me. I've heard nothing but good things about the CP and this will be our first time (in late Nov.) to experience it. Really looking forward to it!!

Don't be sorry! There's so much to know about WDW, no one can know all the details.

The Candlelight Processional is a Christmas show at Epcot. Big production, with a choir and orchestra, and a celebrity telling the Christmas story.

Seating is open to all at no charge, but the performances fill up very quickly. If you want to reserve a seat, you need to do one of the dining packages. I believe you can do either lunch or dinner, at your choice of restaurant. So it doesn't have to be 'dinner and a show', but many people do the dining packages to guarantee that they'll get a seat.

Just in case the information you read does not tell you, this is not your typical Christmas show. No Santa, no Frosty, no Jingle Bells. As was mentioned, it is the telling of the Christmas Story, by a guest narrator. I have seen many a young child squirm during this. If you have any little ones, make sure you know what you are getting yourself into!

This will be our 17th anniversary of the CP. We don't consider it Christmas until we see it!
