I'm so proud of my DD!

My DD signed up for a Mathathon to raise money for St. Judes Children's Hospital for kids that have cancer. She completed all the math problems correctly, and there were a lot of them.

When she told me that she had signed up for the project, I asked if everyone in her class was involved. "No, just a few." Then I asked if she got extra credit for doing it. "No. It is just the right thing to do."

This from the child who HATES math, with a passion! She gave up her free time to do what she felt was right. It made me really proud that she was doing this for children that she doesn't even know.

Thanks for letting me share. Now she just needs to collect some money to send in.
