I'm SO mad at Netflix!

I cancelled my Netflix subscription, I just wasn't using it enough right now with everything else going on. You have to return the movies you have out within 7 days...I sent mine in on the 2nd day after I cancelled. The account my Netflix comes out of is an extra checking that I use for subscription type stuff - I ONLY keep what's coming out monthly in it, no extra.

So - I realize that Netflix has charged me THREE times in the amount of $21.60 because they said my movies didn't arrive back until the 10th day. Since the account is kept even w/ the deductions that means it became overdrawn and my account was charged $30 THREE times. I'm SOOO pissed off and customer service at Netflix acted like they didn't care and oh well.

Their warehouse is about 8 miles from my house, when I used to send and receive movies it only took a day, maybe 2 at most so I KNOW these three movies arrived in the 7 day window. Basically these three movies that I don't even have cost me $154.80!!! :furious: :furious: :furious:

Talk to your CC company ASAP. Though I love netflix.

That is why if I ever ancel I will make sure nothing is in queue and I have returned the movies first.

Sorry they are treating you like that, maybe ask to speak to a supervisor?
 
I called again and go nowhere, Supervisor will "have to call me back". I think I'm just going to drop in at lunch and ask to speak to someone.

I loved the service while I had it, it's just this latest turn of events. I made a mistake to cancel w/ stuff out, but I didn't think of it at the time since it was always like clockwork. :(

I have never been by our hub is it somewhere you can just walk into?

I was thinking more of a warehouse that would be hard to get access too
 
You are not the only one this has happened to. I read a tip online that if you cancel with movies out, make sure to return them certified or with delivery confirmation-anything to prove the date NetFlix received them. Although this won't help be of help to you, it may someone else. So sorry this happened, and I hope that CS does the right thing.
