Isn't it great?! A lot of my friends and family around me just don't get my WDW obsession. We are going in October too. Where are you staying?

We are staying at the All Star Music in their family suite. We thought about Port Orleans but determined we'd have more room at ASM.

You can have great fun at this site planning and discussing your Disney trip. You have nearly 8 months so enjoy yourself on these boards, it really adds to the excitement. My DW also thinks I am somewhat nuts with the planning, however, as the trip gets closer everyone gets involved. Enjoy

Welcome! Let me warn you....once you go the first time, you want to plan your next trip before you even leave Disney!!! We took both of our kids in June last year, and I have booked us again at Disney for October also! My DH thinks I am crazy also! Everytime I am on the internet, he is saying "are you on your DIS boards again?". I am truely obsessed!!! It is nice to know that there are other crazy people out there like me!!!!

Apparently, we have all found kindred spirits here. My DH feels the same way, just doesn't get it . I have learned so much that I think will make the trip even better so we don't spend 2 days lost and trying to figure things out. Thanks especially to all of those more fortunate to go more regularly to help us newbies out with much needed info

I love this site. I have been visiting and using it for almost 4 years now. I am not much of a poster most of the time (I manage another message board, so I get kind of tired of them ) but the people here are great, and it is always filled with tons of tidbits of info.

I have a good friend who is just as much a Disney nut as me, and we are going together for the first time in May. Ought to be fun

Me too! I haven't gone as far as figuring out wich restaurants and days I want to eat at them, but I have a good idea I have a notebook I keep notes in etc. I was even thinking of trying Tour Guide Mike for the first time.

I used Tour Guide Mike last year and renewed for my trip this year too. I find it a great resource for planning my days.
