WE LEAVE IN 6 DAYS! It just hit me as I was making PS's! My kids do not know we are going. Surprise trip! It has been over 2 years since my DS (14) has been and over 3 years since my DD (11) has been. We are staying all week at the CR. My DD's bday was earlier this month. She has been asking for a party, but "the place she wants to have it is too busy"! Of course, her party is WDW! Surely that will make her happy. That and the fact she is staying at her favorite hotel!
I've got my DDE letter. I've made my PS's. Very sad, only one character meal (Liberty Tree for the first time) as my kids are getting "too old" to enjoy. We are trying O'hana's for dinner and Whispering Canyon for the first time. Should be fun!
Do either O'hana's or WCC do anything special for birthdays? Have you been anywhere else that makes the birthday child feel extra special?

Have you been to the arcarde at The Contemporary yet? Your kids are at the ages where that would be a great place to take a break from the parks.
