I'm so excited...

1 week from today!! We'll finally be on vacation at the "fort". Woo hoo!! It can't get it here fast enough. And then once we're there, I'll want time to slow down. Guess ya can't have it both ways...bummer!!

We're going to rent the internet access, so I hope to bring live updates while we're there. Now if I can only figure our how to post pics from my digital camera to my laptop... anyone???

I am sooo jealous, but I hope you have a great trip. Reading live reports always makes me feel closer to the fort

As for pictures, you should have received a program cd with your digital camera. You just download it onto your laptop and it will guide you through the set up process. Once you have figured out how to get the pictures onto the laptap, you can use photobucket.com for uploading your pictures. I load my pictures onto photobucket and then copy and paste the URL to the post in the appropriate area.

Yeah, I know how to do photo bucket. That works fine for me. I just need to read up on instructions before I leave so I can get pics from camera to laptop. Cross your fingers!

depending on how old your laptop is, you might not need the software that came with the camera...just the usb cord...

if you are running winxp, then you can just plug the usb in and a camera wizard will come up and let you download the pictures right there...try it at home before you go so that you are prepared...i know you are going to take lots of pics for your upcoming trip!

Take your camera with you to radio shack...you will have better luck there...let me know how you come out at the store...
