I'm So Excited to Find This Board

We are going to Disney with friends April 25 - May 2. A first for us to join another family and to think it's going to be at Disney World. We are all so excited we keep calling each other and discussingthings.

I used to think my DH and I were vetrans of Disney. That is until I found this site WOW! There is so much information and a little overwhelming at first but I've managed my way through of hours of reading posts and finally getting myself a counter.

We are traveling from west-side of GTA to Buffalo. We found a fabulous flight out of there for CHEAP!!! We are staying 8 days and 7 nights onsite at POFQ. I was a little worried about the location but after reading the reviews I'm sooooooo happy with our choice. My DH and I have been to Disney before (him more than I). Together we've been 3 times and this will be our 4th. Our Friends have never been so I was trying to get as much info as possible to make it new and interesting for us as well as be able to show our friends some "hidden" gems of Disney magic.

This board has been wonderful for that and I'm so greatful. I hope I get to know some other posters. I plan to visit often .

My DW and I are usually on the board alot this time of year but as things begin to speed up around May We disappear for a while only to come back to the DIS later in the year. I think its the same for most of us. I notice everyone welcomes us back with open arms and you never feel like your left out of the loop. I think this board is great and can speak for my wife as well when I say we feel the most comfortable here (on this board) talking to people who share the same interest, as in everything Disney.

Welcome Aurora -- you'll find the DISboards to be suitably addictive. I didn't mind the freezing rain cancelling my attendance at my curling league today -- I got to read the DISboards!!

Hi ... and welcome to the DIS ... and especially the Canadian boards! POFQ is one of our favourite resorts! And we stayed there before they rehabbed it! The DIS is a great "family" ... although there are days when I should be spending less time with this family and more time on my work
